The tuning of vehicle suspension, steering and aerodynamics to obtain the best solution for local road conditions and driver expectations has always been a mixture of art and science, at RML Automotive we can supply both.

Back in 1997, Performance Car magazine, supported by Nissan, commissioned RML to “make a good car better”. They wanted to see how the Nissan 200SX could be improved dynamically without compromising comfort. The results were spectacular and from this start RML Automotive has developed its expertise to provide ride and handling enhancements and general chassis tuning solutions for both large manufacturers and low volume producers. These include sporting upgrades, the tuning of imported models to suit the unique UK roads and complete chassis evaluations using our chassis compliance rig and race bred data logging systems. 

We have developed our own bespoke testing criteria and development techniques which coupled with our huge data base of vehicle performance parameters allows us to quickly and effectively benchmark any category of car, identify its strengths and weaknesses, re-engineer where necessary and finally tune the relevant areas to achieve the desired results for our customers.
