Making the Cruze
RML's Engine division provides a full support programme to a number of independent touring car teams.
Bamboo Engineering lease engines for their 2 Chevrolet Cruzes and are given the latest specification unit, as used by the RML Chevrolet World Touring Car Championship team.
Chevrolet Motorsport Sweden lease engines for their 2 Chevrolet Cruzes in the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship and are given the latest specification unit, as used by the RML Chevrolet British Touring Car Championship team.
In British Touring Cars, RML support the 2 TechSpeed Racing Chevrolet Cruzes as well as the Team ES Racing Chevrolet Lacetti. Both teams are also using the latest specification unit.
As part of the support programme, an RML engineer will attend every race or test session the teams take part in to ensure the engine's reliability, to monitor performance, make changes based on the driver's feedback and record data.
